Zębowa Wróżka

Outside Warsaw, a girl from the Miziołek family — yes, the ones from the books — places her tooth on a saucer beside her bed. The Zębowa Wróżka comes in through the keyhole, no bigger than a thimble, no quieter than a thought. She takes the tooth and leaves a coin and a piece of poppyseed cake, just for the trouble.
