Tannfeen

In a cabin outside Oslo, a child sets the glass of water on the windowsill where the moon can see it. The tooth bobs once and settles. Tannfeen comes silent, faster than the snow that falls outside. By dawn, the water is clear and a silver coin rests where a tooth used to be — and somewhere a fjord is one tooth richer.
