Tönn Ævintýri
Tönn Ævintýri
On a winter night in Reykjavik, when the sky is black and the snow is loud, a child pulls a tooth and her mother says the same thing every Icelandic mother says: "Now no more candy until the new one comes." Tönn Ævintýri visits anyway. She is not strict, only fair. She leaves a coin and a small lesson about taking care of what grows back.
